"Unfortunately, this place was not what we were expecting. There were some things that prevented the apartment from receiving higher ratings. For example, no screens in the windows plus no AC meant we were hot the entire time. Also, the half bath has no fan, so when nature calls, you share it with the bedroom… especially with the barn doors. Finally, the pictures make it seem like the entire place is yours, but you are no one of four apartments in the home."

"Looked unsafe, parking lot was very messy and congested. Building looked run down and hotel looked cheap and dirty. Definitely not worth how much they are charging per night."

"The location is conveniently located approximately 5 mins from the airport. It was a safe neighborhood with a church across the street. Walmart & Costco just a few miles away. Windows open in the bedrooms for fresh air sleeping. The owners no longer cook breakfast since COVID, but provided a refrigerator full of everything you might need for a breakfast feast. Owners have a nice selection of take-along snacks and fresh fruit for guest consumption. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, & bakeware. Washer/dryer available in basement. Location does not have first floor accommodations; must be able to climb 5+ stairs. Parking is limited and unmarked. Furnishings are comfortable and decor is Alaska themed. Host/owner is on site and responsive. Overall a great place to stay whether just passing through or needing a good base for daily excursions. We would definitely stay here again."

"Very clean and our junior suite was quiet with a view to Lake Hood. No elevator. Somewhat dated. Pipers Restaurant was very good. Seemed to be a place where people mostly stayed for just one night. Convenient to Tony Knowles Trail and other Anchorage and beyond things to do. Easy free parking-be sure to get a pass for car. Free airport shuttle."
