"connected to the station, the hotel is very convenient especially for anyone trying to get to Naoshima early in the morning. It’s a beautiful hotel with great food options."
"This is an outstanding place to stay, save for two issues. First, there was no way to control the the air temperature in the room. It was set on a building wide basis. Second, there was no way (at least not one we could figure out) to turn off the room lights while the master switch was activated with the room key. If someone needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and wanted some light in the bathroom, they had to insert a room key into the master switch, which would also turn on all the room lights and disturb the other occupant. Alternatively, one could fumble around in the dark using a flashlight app on a cellphone. Other than those issues, the hotel was fantastic. The staff was incredibly helpful and polite. The location (across the street from the railway station) is ideal if one is traveling by train. The hotel provided a happy hour with free drinks (beer, liquor and soft drinks) plus a nice assortment of free snacks in the 20th floor bar, which had a lovely view of the city and surrounding mountains. Except as noted above, the facilities are very nice."
"Most staff was friendly. However, there was no AC only heat. Thus our room was very hot. There was some mold in the corner of the bath tub. The location is decent."
"Extras that most hotels don't offer include a wonderful sauna and osem (hot bath), sake or wine at night. Clean room (but small for 2 people). Great locker room for luggage."
"Excellent experience staying here. Staff spoke good English. Breakfast was amazing, and you can even choose from Japanese or Western. It came as a set. The onsen is pretty decent. As a spa hotel, look out for its full repertoire of bathroom provisions which even included moisturising milk! Oh, they even had samurai props which you can use & take photos with! Definitely value for money & a wonderful experience!"
"Buena ubicación, habitación amplia, no dan amenidades como en otros hoteles. El onsen un plus tranquilo y ayudó mucho para una mejor recuperación de tanto caminar "
