"Very well located hotel right in front of Strasbourg station, and easy to access all the best that Strasbourg has to offer. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the property and their city. The breakfast was delicious, all made in-house, in a nice room with some cheery budgerigars.
The room was large and clean, with a comfy bed.
My negative comments could be applied to other hotels we stayed in on this trip too: 1) The vogue for dark interiors and fancy lighting schemes makes for very dark rooms. Even the lighting in the bathroom made it difficult to see properly in the mirror. 2) We were given one of the wheelchair friendly rooms, so the low clothes shelf meant we had to bend right down to get access to the hanging rail which was also in near-darkness. The accessible shower had no screen or curtain so we had a lot of escaped water on our bathroom floor. The extra height of the WC means it is harder to reach the floor with your feet and in turn (sorry to get graphic) empty your bowels properly. I understand the need for these rooms and that often there are quotas in building codes, but they are not always very "accessible" for people not in wheelchairs. I now understand why my 80 yr old father-in-law refused to stay in one recently. 3) Blue or white LEDs on AC units/Phones/TVs/Control units light the room up completely at 3am. They should be banned. I have to go around covering them up with socks."
"Fabulous 2 night stay in cosy and trendy room. Good air conditioning and facilities. Selection of free hot drinks and fresh water downstairs. Plus a bar. Unique, stylish and conveniently situated near the station, quirky interior design and massive screen television in foyer and very polite and helpful staff. Relaxing and peaceful during my stay.
Very good value for money; immaculate rooms and public areas."
"The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was also very good and convenient for getting around. We had a nice stay and would recommend it."
"Street the hotel is on seems a bit sketchy, but the hotel inside is very nice. Hard to access by car because officially the road seems to be no cars (although cars drive/park on it anyways). Parkade they recommend is a close and easy 10 min walk or so.
Hotel does not have AC, but they use geothermal cooling or something which definitely helped us beat the heat during the European heat wave. The staff offered a fan, and brought it up quickly when we accepted.
Comfortable room, great location, would return."
"Good location, close to public transportation and food. Well maintained property. The staff at reception were polite but not friendly. Some of the toiletries in the bathroom were not refilled before we arrived. Parking is not included and can be a bit pricey over a few days. The car park is not convenient to drive in and out of often. Overall, the hotel is good value for money and a comfortable stay."
