My First time at an Element, I thought they were nicer. Just a basic hotel but very clean. However, very noisy. The floors transmitted noise very loudly and there was an intermittent tapping noise coming from the bathroom that was very annoying.

Many things to like: newish hotel with modern decor, comfy bed, nice bathroom, environmentally friendly ethos. A couple misses: for a hotel that touts environmentally astute choices, the breakfast that was mostly packaged highly processed food was pretty disappointing. The much touted espresso machine was available 24/7....but out of order. The coffee in urns was fine, but nothing but fake creamer to put in it (i did eventually find some actual milk ostensibly for the cereal.
