"Beautiful, Quiet Riverside Stay — Highly Recommended!
The hotel arranged transport from Bangkok to Uinchantree for our 4 night stay in April.
The hotel is situated in a very beautiful, quiet location on a bend in the river, just a short walk from the bridge.
Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean, and featured both a bath and a comfortable lounge area. The hotel grounds are very pretty, centered around a beautiful Inchan tree, and there is a small pool with great river views (which was surprisingly busy!).
Because the main restaurant was undergoing renovations, they had moved operations to a small area opposite with outdoor seating. This actually worked really well, as it still offered lovely views of the river. While there was some expected noise from the building works, we were out most days, so it didn’t affect our stay at all. We ate at the hotel for two evenings, and the food was exceptionally good. I also highly recommend booking the traditional Thai massage directly through the hotel.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our visit. Additionally, the hotel is perfectly situated for a trip on the Death Railway and a visit to the "hands-off" Somboon Elephant Foundation near the Erawan area. We thoroughly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again."
"Good value for money, friendly staff. Well located, about ten minutes walk to River Kwai Bridge. Would consider using again at the price point I paid."
"17 year old Hotel, approx 105 rooms, but its good value for the money. Good river views, goid food at the riverside restaurant and very good buffet breakfast. Staff friendly & efficient Room was very big and clean. Bed was goid and soft"
