"The hotel is in a Residential area, but is walkable to the main attractions and restaurants. It's a fairly new building so accommodations are nice and very comfortable. The rooms have a small kitchen area in the event that you want to prepare breakfast. Staff at the reception are really nice and helpful. I really recommend this place. "

"Very beautiful views atop a mountain overlooking the Mediterranean. The road up is a challenge, for sure. Probably unlike anything else you have driven, but very doable with a little patience. "The hotel was excellent in all regards, including the restaurant. Short walking distance to the archeology museum. 10 min walking to the ferry boats. Breakfast was sumptuous and fresh. The only exception was the noise at the near by harbor. We stayed a total of 6 njghts. On three out of the 6 nights, there was loud music, some kind of party, at the near by harbor that lasted well after midnjght. "

"Very nice place. Excellent breakfast, and very helpful staff. Located right on the edge of Old Heraklion, so it's easy to walk there. Just a 10 minute walk to the port, so if you are arriving or departing by ferry, you won't need a taxi.
