"Nice hotel rooms and nice view. Breakfast is underwhelming as compared to the Oasis hotel across the street. Oasis has lower prices and better breakfast but the rooms are not as nice as the Lighthouse. However, the Lighthouse staff are much less friendly and less helpful than the Oasis. Overall, the Oasis seems like a much better value."

"Super séjour! L'hôtel est impeccable, avec plusieurs piscines. Le restaurant est très bien, les repas sont variés et les plats sont bien élaborés tout en essayant de faire découvrir différentes cuisines. Nous avions loué une voiture, très pratique pour aller à Lindos et Rhodes."

"Reception staff and in ‘restaurant’ good. Animation shocking . But I know there is a reason I don’t do all inclusive and this reconfirmed. Food shocking, canteen like restaurant. I paid less than half price of this in pefkos and had breakfast and great service . The area around hotel not good. And the smell ! The rooms are nice but I wouldn’t be paid to stay there. Thank heavens it was only for one night. The old town is lovely with some great little bars / restaurants and only 24 minute walk....

The biggest issue is the gap between the luxury ultra all inclusive 5 star image in the marketing and the reality. "This was our 6th visit to The Mayia hotel and it never disappoints . From the moment you walk in you are greeted with calmness and smiles. All the staff in every area of the hotel are all wonderful although a special mention for Erjeta in customer relations for looking after us and making our trip extra special . "From the moment we arrived the staff were brilliant at all levels. The suite we had was excellent (although the private pool water was cold to get in but great once in !!). The food was first class with lots of variety at breakfast and the set 4 course menu for dinner varied every day of the week and was very tasty and very well presented. The evening entertainment at dinner was of a high calibre and very relaxing to watch and listen to. All in all a great holiday."
