"This Hotel is an absolute gem. Its location in Kalk Bay is perfect, being only a few hundred yards from the main road where all the quirky shops and boutiques and cafés are. The views from the Hotel over the bay itself are lovely. The hotel is immaculately kept, clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. Our room was large and airy with amazing views over the sea. The highlights of the Hotel apart from the wonderful staff was the breakfast. This was a never-ending bottomless affair with lots of choice of delicious dishes. The coffee and the food just kept coming as long as you wanted it with fresh orange juice and juice shots to wake up your taste buds. We set our alarm a little early each morning so we could take full advantage of the delicious breakfast. And we were rewarded not only with a delicious meal sitting on the beautiful terrace, but on the first morning we even saw a large whale breach out in the bay. This was the first day of our South African adventure and so to see such a wonderful sight literally within the first few minutes of our first day was truly amazing. I would thoroughly thoroughly recommend this Hotel to anybody wanting to stay in the area and I would also recommend Kalk Bay as it has a number of wonderful cafés and restaurants."
