We thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were anazing as they helped us with what to see and do and mapped out hikes and other sites we would enjoy. They were so gracious and kind and went out of their way to help us.They made our stay there very memorable. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of fresh local foods. It was a great place to stay and i am happy we found it.

Cozy and caring place to stay

Great location and view. The staff are incredibly friendly, and made us feel welcomed and special. The room had 2 balconies and a stocked kitchen. Plus, breakfast was delightful, with local foods. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Quiet with a courtyard

This is a small hotel away from the tourist bustle but still close enough to everything especially if you like to walk. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Breakfast was exceptional, served with eggs ham, tomato, cucumbers, fresh bread a variety of homemade jams local honey, yogurt and cheeses. From the courtyard freshly cut grapes and fig’s were served.

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Meteora and Kalabaka. The property is beautiful and conveniently located. The owners take a lot of pride in hosting guests in their hotel. The breakfast was tasty! Mary and Spiros were excellent hosts. The hotel is a short drive to the meteora monestaries, the center square of Kalabaka, and roadways to other parts of Greece. As if October 2025, the address listed in hotels. Com is not correct for the property, nor is the contact phone number. We will try to contact the company to remedy this when we return. My advice is to put the name of the hotel into Google maps and hopefully it will bring you there.

My best recommendations - Super place

This is a family hotel. The family go very long to ensure you have a great stay. We got several good recommendations for day trips and places to eat in the area. We had a very delicious breakfast. The owners, Mary and Spiros were very accommodative and cordial and staff as well. The room was comfortable but the booking site did not inform us that the room we selected was below ground. This was compensated by the availability of a garden with table outside of our room once we came up and outside. This is not the fault of the proprietors but more of the booking site.

Very welcoming

We had a fantastic stay at Epavlis Meteora Suites during our time in Greece! The owners, Spyros and Mary, were really friendly and made us feel at home, welcoming us with cherries from their tree. The property is really well kept with great views of the Meteora rocks on one side and Kalabaka/plain of Thessaly on the other. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was also great - homemade with local ingredients. Bear in mind that the hotel is located up a steep(ish) hill and is quite far from shops or restaurants though this is no problem if you have a car. Don’t hestitate to stay here when visiting Meteora!

Friendly and welcoming family who could not do enough for you and provided a wonderful breakfast. Such a lovey and quiet location below two of rhe monasteries and within good walking distance to the main street and restaurants. Access by road can be tricky if using Sat-Nav. Do not believe google that all roads are the same! Best to approach from the main town centre passing near to a church if you want to avoid off-roading. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again. Thank you!

We had an unique Breakfast Service...a la carte...with everything home made...at the time we requested..7:30 am Super friendly and Family Style Wonderfull country experience... Dont mind the streets still being dirt...asphalt is coming soon

Bathtub would not drain, no shower, and cracks in the walls. Road is gravel to get to the hotel. The picture is deceiving because the outside room it shows is not where you stay. I guess that is just for staging purposes. The hotel was across the grass down concrete stairs. Would not be accessible or accomadating for anyone with a disability or trouble walking.
