The room was clean with an ocean view as requested. We had access to the Lanai Lounge which was amazing! The staff was friendly and always willing to help and answer any questions we had. It had restaurants on site and was next to a mall. Location was ideal!

An hour extra time for late check-out would have cost $250. It soured our departure. Last time that I was in Hawaii, at another resort, we were greeted with tropical drinks and lei. It was a nice touch. The Westin resort did not do that. It's the little things folks, step up your game please.

This was our first time in Maui and at the Westin - Our room was clean, our ocean view was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed the amenities and cultural activities on site, the beautiful lush greenery, the proximity to the beach (a few steps from the pool), and the staff...all of it was great! The property is beautiful and it is in a great location. The shopping center and plenty of restaurants were in walking distance. We did not like the fact that you needed to rent beach chairs at $176 a day. We are use to resorts supplying them for their guests. I would expect that for the price we paid to stay there. We enjoyed their luau and thought it was high quality. They maintained the property well and it seemed like a good spot for families. Even though we would not choose to stay there again because we prefer adult only resorts that supply places to lounge on the beach, we had an amazing time and enjoyed the view from our room.

As Maui residents we don’t usually take advantage of the islands resorts so it was nice to play tourist for a few days and relax. 4th of July festivities at Westin resort were way above any expectation and the flower drop was cool to be part of as well. THIS WAS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY. OUR ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN, THEIR VALET STAFF WAS SUPER FRIENDLY. OUR ROOM HAD TERRIFIC BEACH AND POOL VIEWS AND THE POOLS WERE VERY CLEAN. I WOULD DEFINITLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ABD WILL STAY AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.
