"I rarely would give a five star review, this property was so beautiful, beautiful welcoming, and extremely clean. My husband and I enjoyed breakfast every day with a beautiful view of the water & the staff were so friendly and accommodating for all of our needs. A+ for the luxurious towels and amenities. I hope our travels bring us back."

"The staff were amazing, very helpful and welcoming. It was over 100 degrees for the 4th weekend and our first room didn’t have a working ac, the switched us to a new room in the same floor. The outside property and the main floor are very clean, the rest of the building is a bit outdated The beds in the room were very comfortable and the hot water was actually hot. For the price and being conveniently located to Colonial Williamsburg would stay again."

"Some of the surfaces in our room were sticky and there was a dirty washcloth hanging over the shower rod when we entererd. Cigarette butts littered the ground around the stairs and room entrances. The location is very convenient to Colonial Williamsburg, restaurants, and other attractions, and the staff members were responsive and helpful, but overall the facilities are worn and rather dingy. "Never again! I arrived to a trash strewn parking lot. Sitting area adjacent to filthy front door was disgusting. Dirt. Trash and cigarette butts on the ground. Worn, dirty mat at entrance. Long check-in process. Stained, dirty carpets in corridors, elevator and room. Room door propped open with heavy desk. No towels or washcloths. Interior parts of fridge displaced or missing. FILTH on surface beside fridge. Hair in fridge. No lid or plastic bag for ice bucket. Glass tray missing from...

"The staff allowed us to drop our luggage off before check-in so we could go off to do other things and that was nice. The mattress was fairly comfortable and the air conditioning worked fine. Otherwise it was an unpleasant experience. The room was dark and dingy. The furnishings were worn out…the easy chair had stained fabric, the bed sheet had a hole in it, and the handle on the folding door to the bath was missing. The TV produced a message stating that the streaming contract was expired so...

"Worst hotel stay every 0/10 do not recommend. This place was so filthy. The first room they put us in the bathroom light was out and the toilet was gross. We changed rooms twice and it was still gross… and the non smoking room smelled like cigarettes. There were dead smashed millipedes all on the side walks and in the stairwells. The professionalism was non existent The pool was cloudy and bug filled. I mean I could go on and on. And I stayed there for the 4th of July weekend!"

"Maybe a better choice out of the surrounding hotels but definitely didn't feel like it was as great as most of the reviewers have mentioned. The front lobby appears nice and the staff were very friendly. However, although they maybe had some renovations, rooms still felt a little outdated and small. The bathrooms were small and you could definitely see the wear and tear on the ceiling of the shower and the shower head was very low for a standard bathroom shower. But what I really had an issue...

I had very limited options to cancel second day; would have been reimbursed very small amount;That was unacceptable. Probably more options if had booked through hotel. Did not see a phone number on Expedia to call directly."

"To start we arrived 30 minutes before check-in and we're charged $20 to check us in 30 minutes early. That wasn't even the issue. We were given a room with a key into the room the previous residents had just vacated the room it was filthy and dirty. Went back to the front desk for a second key got a room that was supposed to be non-smoking that smelled like smoke. Always were filthy and wreaked of pets. While in the room the only plus was at the air conditioning was amazing in 100 plus degrees...
