Bay Tree Stay

Great location for my visit, close proximity to schools and university. Rene is an extremely attentive and friendly host and check in/check were a breeze. Room was quite dated and full of furniture cluttered, but everything worked.

We had a very pleasant stay at Bay Tree Guesthouse. Room was well-appointed and comfortable. Our only complaint is that when we made the booking, it was very clearly indicated that breakfast was included in the room rate but when we received the confirmation (after we paid for the booking), it suddenly appeared that the breakfast was NOT included.

It’s not possible to have had a more pleasant and pleasurable guest house experience! The hosts were Uber friendly, warm, receptive and helpful. And the breakfast was delicious, the facilities were safe and secure in a great location; and the room was spacious and immaculate. We will surely return!

So Much More Than Home from Home

Renee and Bay Tree Guest House are everything you would want in a hostess and a Guest House in an unfamiliar city. Renee was so helpful with everything I needed, including giving me a lift to my early morning appointment in town. She organised the airport transfer both to and from Pretoria and nothing was too much for her. Bay Tree itself is a beautiful home and guest house with every comfort and extremely good value. Breakfast was wonderful and such good value too. Thank you so much Renee. I shall be back, for sure.

Great host in safe neighborhood

Spent three nights at this guest house. Breakfast was generous and cooked to order. The area was safe and pleasant. The best aspect of this guest house was the hospitality of the owner. We had an emergency and our host went above and beyond what anyone could expect. Her knowledgeable assistance was invaluable. Thank you Renee!

Great stay at Bay Tree

Our hosts were amongst the most welcoming and helpful hosts I have ever encountered in trips away. Nothing was too much trouble. The B&B was comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. Great location and we were given lots of advice on where to go, what to eat locally etc. Really they are a totally dedicated staff team and I cannot praise them enough. They were so helpful to our disabled travelling companion and it really is very suitable accommodation for a wheelchair user.

Perfect guest house with amazing hosts!

Wonderful guest house situated in a convenient location. Room is spacious and clean and the bed is divinely comfortable. Wifi works well and parking onsite is secured. Fred and Renee are the perfect hosts and great company to be with. Attentive to all our needs and went the extra mile to ensure that we have a great and safe stay. The daily breakfast prepared by Fred is sumptuous and delicious. Highly recommended!
