"Right in the heart of downtown Detroit. Close to everything. City is doing a ton of improvements to the area and it’s definitely in transition in a good way. Nice kitchen and unique rooms with a beautiful view. Will stay again next time I’m in the city."

"We may have arrived on an off day, but our check-in process was terrible. There was a line the entire length of the lobby after 4 pm (when check out started). The front desk staff were not communicating with the line as to the reason of the delays. It then turned out that many guests with reservations through expedia did not actually have rooms reserved, with no help from the hotel. Luckily our reservation was still valid. The mobile key they send to your mobile phone then did not work for an additional 15 minutes, making the check-in process stressful and over 1.5 hours. The room itself was clean and nice, but the block where the entrance of the hotel was felt pretty unsafe. Unfortunately, don't think we'll be returning. "
