As a airline family, both of us have spent a lot of time in hotels and wanted something different for our Bar Harbor stay. Comfortable beds, clean showers and charmng decor greet every visitor. The owner, Chris, is a delightful person and his personality is shown through the employees, decor and all. Oh, let's not forget the breakfasts! ...

"This is really a wonderful facility, and the staff/owner was very professional, gracious, and pleasant. The room was quite nice. The problem we had is that it is a little bit too far to walk to downtown, which is kind of important because the parking and downtown Bar Harbor is absolutely horrendous."
"Loved the Ivy Manor Inn. Right in the middle of everything happening in Bar Harbor. Loved the fireplace and balcony in the room, loved the outdoor space with music and cocktails, loved the staff who were all so helpful."
"The Anchorage motel was great for us. It’s a very basic accommodation- but, very walkable with a lot of good restaurants around. The staff were friendly and it was clean."
"Cute, quaint motel that offered just what we were looking for during our Bar Harbor/Acadia Park get away. The decor and cleanliness of the motel was top notch! The grab and go goodies, fresh coffee and flavored water was perfect throughout the day. The location of the motel was ideal and within walking distance to many local shops and restaurants. Acadia Park was easily accessible. We would highly recommend this motel for anyone traveling to the area! "

"The pictures don’t do this place justice! Super well kept- every detail was perfect and felt more like a nice hotel with vacation amenities. There was a great bus service to and from town, even though we chose to walk home a night or so. It had tons of info and flyers in the office. The staff cleaned and made up the rooms with details and bows each day, with fresh soap, shampoos, etc. Really great- we loved it. Definitely would recommend. We had the room with 3 queens and had 2 teens plus us...
"I was completely shocked when I showed up at the hotel and I received an upgrade due to overbooking. They sent me to their sister hotel. Wow!! Fabulous!! I truly enjoyed. Thank you for the great stay. This review is based on that property because that was where I stayed. Couldn’t have been happier!!!"
