"Very attentive welcoming staff, including the house cleaners. Happy Hour included in price of stay runs from 5:30 to 7:30 pm with full bar, 1 drink and appetizer plate. Michael the bartender/waiter was excellent. Ordered smash burgers, salmon dish, house salads, all wonderful!
Breakfast bar was excellent, waffles, eggs, sausage etc. Included in price, $15.00 if want a fresh made to order omlette. Little pricey for that, but available.
Rooms and property clean inside and outside. Nice relaxing pool area and an outside sitting area behind the hotel complete with gas firepit, piped in music with chairs.
Rooms have microwaves, larger mini fridge with relatively large freezer space, black out curtains and everything is relatively new.
The only bummer is the Direct Only TV, we tried to figure it out first night and gave up. Morning gave it a second try. Would be helpful to have a little stand with simple operational instructions, ie. Red button on, hit 3, then ok button to get guide, standard def. horrible....wish we could put in our own Netflix etc. Never could figure out how. Will bring own streaming device next time.
This was our second stay and will book several rooms this December for our entire family."
"Room was very nice, clean, spacious, and comfortable. Parking available right outside room. Close to downtown, restaurants, fairgrounds, and freeway. Would definitely stay here again."
"Very spacious and comfortable rooms. Great shower with instant hot water.
Only thing I didn't like was their absolutely, disgustingly horrible TV remote control. Not sure if the TV has smart features just blocked by the horrible remote or of it's truly a dumb TV, forgot to bring my usual programmed Roku Stick for travel but worry it would be unusable without the ability to select another input source which their horrible remote blocks... Did not notice an on TV menu button... That said given I forgot the Roku did not dig into this more... Usual horrible selection of old cable TV stuff barring access to streaming services."
"We arrived late after a very long drive, and the check-in staff were friendly & efficient. Our room was very clean, the beds were SO comfy, and the room had unexpected amenities like a magnifying mirror and little vanity corner. I would definitely stay here again!"
