Location was great: The famous bazaar was 8 min away to the left of the property and there's a metro station nearby as well. To the right u just walk 3 min to the nearest tram that can take u to Alsancak or u can walk for max 7 min to arrive to a very nice college style neighborhood. It reminded me of New York honestly. Room was extra clean and facilities are great. The receptionists were more than perfect and helpful and polite gentlemen. All in all perfect hotel.

Hotel marina is only a 2 minute walk to the metro which is fantastic. The rooms are nothing special, they have all necessary amenities but the walls are paper thin so you can hear EVERYTHING in the hallway and in other rooms. I had to wear earplugs in my room as I kept getting woken up just from footsteps and voices

Great stay!

I stayed at this hotel to stay in Izmir. I was a little nervous because it was my first time there, but the hotel staff were really kind and helpful. When I asked questions about things I didn't understand, they kindly explained them to me. It was clean and everything about the hotel was perfect. I'll say it again, the hotel staff are wonderful. I think this is a hotel where foreigners can stay with peace of mind. I'm really grateful to the hotel staff. Thank you.

A great base for exploring Izmir.

Booked by low price, central location and description, so we were very pleasantly impressed by the efficient welcome and check-in on arrival, mid-afternoon, and to find impeccably clean, neat rooms. We enjoyed our cup of tea with the kettle provided, and the minibar offerings were very good (even if not used!) and noted the restaurant offered orders if required. The optional buffet breakfast gave us an excellent choice. However, it was a nice walk to the Kordon and Alsancak dining areas, very close to the tramway, so we enjoyed our 24 hours sight-seeing in Izmir thoroughly. Only slight drawback is it is in a very quiet area at night, being in a busy shops area by day. Of course, parking in Izmir is an issue, but Reception were very helpful directing us to safe paid parking. Giving friends the hotel name!

Beautiful, but.....

Everything was great, but the parking was miserable. The street the hotel is on closes at 10AM and opens at 6PM. God forbid you want to stay in late and get sleep, you're locked in until 6PM. I was coming back around 2AM once my business was finished and there were no parking places in front of the hotel left. Couple of nights I was told to park in front of the businesses and nothing would happen as long as I was able to leave before 10am. Unfortunately, the business owners there were less then cordial and tore into me for parking there. There's a nearby parking area, but they charge ridiculous prices, and there's no discount for parking there because of the hotel. Beautiful hotel and great staff if you don't have a car.
