Sehr schönes Hotel in wunderbarem Panorama .

Das Hotel war bei unserem Besuch erst seit einer Woche geöffnet. Wir hatten den Eindruck es befindet sich noch in der Testphase. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht und freundlich. Die Standardzimmer befinden sich im ersten Stock und sind nur über eine Treppe mit sehr hohen Stufen zu erreichen. Nichts für Ältere Personen. Auch hatten wir bei unserem Besuch mit Wassermangel zu kämpfen.

Eleganti stanze con pareti in pietra, letti ampi e comodi, luogo verde e silenzioso e una accoglienza degna dell’antica ospitalità dei greci per i quali l’ospite era sacro. Un soggiorno gradevolissimo ad un prezzo più che ragionevole. Consigliatissimo!!!!!

Outstanding character hotel

Arrived mid afternoon and we were met by the proprietors and shown to a suite that was absolutely amazing. Created in the outbuildings the features of our room were tasteful and modern but retained all the charm of this historic building.There was no restaurant or bar area but just a short ride into town there are plenty of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. We were leaving before the normal breakfast time to catch the Malta ferry but a staff member started work early to make sure we did not start the day hungry.We will certainly be stopping here again in the future on our trips to and from Malta. Outstanding place to stay☺

Hotellet ligger roligt. Vi overnattede 3 nætter og fik desværre nærmest ikke sovet! Der blev afholdt bryllup de to aftner og anden fest den 3. med musik. Af samme grund kunne vi heller ikke benytte haven og restauranten. Det var dog muligt om morgenen at bestille aftensmad. Der var en fin pool men parasollerne var ikke sat frem (og det var meget varmt) - vi kunne sikkert have spurgt, men de virkede meget optaget af at gøre klar til festerne. Parkeringsforholdene var også ok.

We arrived quite late, and were made feel welcome by the receptionist. However breakfast had to be skipped because of an early ferry departure, nearby.

Temevo che mi sarei pentito per la scelta, ma alla fine mi sono congratulato com me stesso perché,per il tipo di spostamenti che dovevo fare (Scicli, Ragusa, Noto, Modica ecc.)la location dell'hotel é stata é risultata quella giusta.

Disavventura!

Avevo prenotato per 2 notti e all'arrivo in botel mi e stato detto che non aveano ne camere disponibili e neanche la prenotazione, ho mostrato la conferma della prenotazione stampata e solo allora mi hanno dato 1 camera solo per una notte,siamo stati costretti ad andare a cercare un'altro hotel , e visto il periodo nn è stato semplice. Deludente e poco professionali. Per non parlare della musica fino alle 3 del mattino Lo sconsiglio.

un penitenziario

Appena arrivati non abbiamo potuto parcheggiare perche' un cellulare della Polizia ostruiva l'entrata.Dopo avere aspettato che la signorina della reception salutasse gli amici della Polizia abbiamo lasciato lasciato le valigie e ci siamo recati in spiaggia mentre dovevano prepararci la stanza. Questa era situata dietro al complesso principale ,tipo camere a schiera,piena di umidità,armadio inutilizzabile per l'odore di chiuso,sono andato in bagno e nel riaprire la porta la maniglia mi si e' staccata in mano,per cui ho dovuto chiamare mia moglie per farmi uscire.Ad un certo punto volevo chiamare la reception col telefono della camera, ma era staccato senza linea.Fuori dall'ingresso della camera una sedia di paglia sporca faceva da complemento e come panorama il tetto dell'hotel con 2 materassi abbandonati.Siamo usciti a cena e al ns ritorno nel parcheggio oltre al cellulare altre 2 auto della Polizia e una della Finanza,forse c'era una convention?MI sembrava di essere in caserma.Non ho chiuso occhio tutta la notte per il rumore del frigorigero in camera,che conteneva ben 2 bottigliette di acqua minerale,alla faccia del 4 stelle.Alle 7,30 del mattino successivo degli operai hanno iniziato dei lavori di ristrutturazione sul tetto e a quel punto abbiamo deciso di andarcene.

Atmosfera ottocentesca

Il palazzo è una bella struttura con la giusta atmosfera. Il personale è estremamente gentile. Secondo noi il posto è adatto alle cerimonie e per un soggiorno a due. Una nota particolare va alla signora Santina che ci ha accolti ogni mattina con un calore speciale facendoci sentire davvero bene. Se volete qualche pecca, la doccia ha l'acqua un po' debole ed il letto traballa un pochino, ma il posto merita.

Posto d'altri tempi con tutti i comfort moderni.

Servizio impeccabile, l'hotel è su una struttura antica, un sacco di lavori di ristrutturazione in corso su aree comune o chiuse ma nelle camere non manca nulla, condizionatore compreso. Ampio parcheggio ma strada di accesso non proprio semplice da fare, specie con auto di grandi dimensioni o con poca visibilità posteriore visto che se incroci qualcuno serve un bel po' di retromarcia per uscirne.
