"We had a lovely two night stay at the Sligachan Hotel. Our room was clean, the beds were comfy with good pillows, and the rain shower feature in the bathroom was wonderful! We had a nice view of the water from our window. The bar next door, Seumas' Bar had an excellent selection of whiskey, a very nice dinner menu. The sea bass was fabulous and the honey cake dessert was divine. We would like to especially thank Mariam at the front desk for being so kind and helpful during our stay. "

"If you're visiting Portree this is the hotel to stay at. Beautiful views and wonderful food. The rooms are very nice and i would highly recommend paying extra for the ocean view. Nothing like waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee overlooking the water. The people are friendly and it's just an awesome place to stay. Everything you need in one place. "

"We never had an ocean view room, but our room was so cute and cozy, I felt like I was in a bedroom of a house rather than a hotel room. We loved it. Bed is super soft and cozy. We had some great sleeps. Easily walkable to the shops/food/ grocery. Would stay here again. Loved it."

"Small family owned hotel. Located in a remote location, so very peaceful and quiet. In the evening there is a nice fireplace in the lounge. Perfect for a quick pre or post dinner hangout on a chilly night. Drive to the hotel is filled with scenic views of the water, rolling hills dotted with grazing sheep!
