"Convenient location, friendly welcome, cosy room. Breakfast was plentiful with many options."

"Very lovely owner and beautifully presented breakfast. Rooms were very nice..would recommend and would stay again if we came to Scotland again"

"Overall stay was good. firm bed, clean, free breakfast (shower could use an upgrade etc) Right in the heart of downtown so some noise from the bars and from the sea gulls? Prime location and for half the cost of any other hotels in the area"

"Self check-in facility that was far from secure or well maintained. The main door lock was missing on the inside, the stairs carpet had suspicious stains at the bottom of the stairs. The heater was not working and nothing was done to rectify the situation so I had to sleep wearing a sweater & a scarf and there was no hot water other than in the shower, no kettle nor glass & cup for tea/coffee. There was a load of mold all around the window that caused me a lot of disagreement amongst which is a...

"Returned to the Invernaire after a 42 year absence. Plenty remained the same as I remember it in nothing but a good way and also several updates like the en suite washroom especially. Last time it was one shower for the entire upper floor. The view from my cozy little room- Ben Wy was spectacular as was the one from the dining room. Carol was especially helpful from the time I checked in until I left. Breakfast were A-1. Best tea I’ve ever tried and was reunited with black pudding. Miss that...

"Confusing checkin. Building was covered with scaffolding so we could not find it. Directions to get into the building were confusing and took going through numerous emails to finally figure things out. Two other guests were equally confused so it wasn't just us. Window in the bathroom would not close or open. Parking was a nightmare as "ignoring the no overnight parking" sign is difficult advice to follow for rule following Canadians!"

"Nice place and conveniently located. I would book it again for sure."

"Very comfortable guest house convenient for the centre of Aviemore. Good off road parking and useful outside tap/hose for muddy boots & bikes"

"This was a lovely gem in our Scotland 500 trip. The rooms are spacious and very clean, comfortable. The breakfast is a treat as well plenty for all. The staff was friendly and helpful"

"no fuss booking, check-in and stay."

"It was expensive for what it is !"

"The property is well-maintained. The staff were very helpful. We enjoyed authentic Northern Indian cuisine. There are multiple walking paths close by. I wish we had more time to explore."
