"The front desk staff was pleasant and very helpful. Request for late check-in and bed arrangement was fulfilled. The hotel shuttle from the airport you have to figure it out on your own, as communication about this was not answered. The Housekeeping staff needs a bit of improvement. The conditioner was out and I asked for it to be replenished twice and this was not done. The teas/coffees were not replenished. The housekeeper knocked on our door at night around 9 or 10pm to change the garbage bag, one of us was already asleep and with the "do not disturb" sign on we assumed it was some emergency that they would knock that late at night. Location-wise it's close to 2 different shopping areas, so that's fine. For those who want to use the trains I would suggest staying closer to Mascot station area hotels. We had breakfast and dinner here, they ran out of one of the breakfast items (which was fine as the other item we ordered was tasty). Dinner was OK, no complaints there. Didn't use the pool or go to the rooftop bar. The room itself with laundry and kitchen is great, just a shower no bath tub. "

"The property was old and run down. Have stayed here twice before (more than ten years ago) and had been so impressed. But nothing has been updated or changed. The beds were small but comfortable. Our room had an external door to the pool area. The handle had been removed and the gaps Gaffa taped up. It was literally a hole in the door where the lock and hs doe once were. Breakfast was a big selection but nothing spectacular. The atmosphere was quit ed sad and bleak. The in house restaurant was expensive for dinner and the menu not great. We walked to another hotel and found a more family friendly restaurant. It was fine but for the money we paid and the expectation of the Stamford we were left disappointed. I would choose to stay elsewhere. Location to domestic airport was good. We could walk. The staff did not speak English fluently enough to ask questions to or take feedback. Too cold to use pool but it was in a run down condition."
