"The boat was nowhere close to what was advertised and what we paid for. Room was advertised as premium but actual was far from it. Very poor room and supporting amenities. Linen, bathroom etc very very poor and not reflecting premium room. Poor linen - holes in linen and towels brown and very worn. No wifi on board even though advertised as with WIFI. No tissues or toilet paper as well as no bath mats. Very unhygienic facility but were asked to walk without shoes onboard."

"First of all I was put not into Alif Laila but in another House Boat "Gulfaam". With very poor cleaning and service. It was a bad experience. No bills given for food bills, but charged."

"Kerela houseboats is the middle agency for blue house boats. NOT at all worth the money looting customers, spent so much but was shared with 6 families not peaceful!..asked for towels said 1 room 1 towel(more like long napkins) for 4 ppl. Double bed not enough for 4 ppl, after insisting got the extra bed, not recommended for the money spent."

The owner is operating as a front desk for the deluxe houseboats at Dal lake as earmarked by the houseboat owners' association. So when u book via expedia with Dandoo he only acts as a mediator and gets u a boathouse accommodation on behalf of boat owner.
