Witnessed from hotel room window (pure chance) when foreign ambassadors were being transported to the Imperial Palace by horse carriage to present their credentials. Interesting spectacle. The palace east gardens were about 800m from the hotel. The hotel is located in the Tokyo Train Station making day travel in Tokyo and by the Shinkansen very simple. Staff extremely helpful."

"This hotel was perfect for our family vacation to Tokyo. Nestled in between two of the main train stations, travel to anywhere in Japan was a breeze. The room was a good size for a family of four. The breakfast was substantial enough to keep us full until lunch time(and had options for our picky eater!). The staff was very helpful with booking a taxi to the airport on our way home. We had everything we needed and it was a wonderful home base for our first trip to Tokyo."
