Hyde Park Barracks Museum

UNESCO listed convict site in Sydney, now a museum. It is one of 11 Australian Convict Sites on list, inscribed in 2010.

World Heritage Convict Site 1819-1848. Young compared to most of the worlds history but a building who saw an estimated 50,000 convicts pass through its doors. These same convicts built Sydney. Its the place to hear the convicts haunting tales of what life was like and the conditions.

Original convict built brickwork. A lot of fascinating architecture and history is located here. I recommend visiting if your in Sydney.
