This was such a cute little hostel! The kitchen was very cosy and had everything that someone might need. There were lots of washrooms so never had to wait. The rooms were really cozy and everything was very clean. Will be coming back here on our next trip!

Don’t let the outside of the building scare you away. The inside is clean, plenty or WC, kitchen is small but adequate. Hostel is a self check in. Only downside was I had to call and message for room and code. Other than that, it was great.

Nice, affordable and peaceful.
Upgraded to the private cabins (same owner) and was not disappointed. Beautiful small town and the host was very kind.

Rooms small but clean, with coupboard, table and chairs. Bathroom also clean and kitchen seemed to have sll the basic you would need (we didn´t have use the kitchen tho) only negarice thing was the screeching in the beds.

Very organized nice place with an easy self check-in. Clean and well decorated house. Breakfast included with cereals, bread and spreads and fruits which were very appreciated. It is also very well located, near the Keflavik airport and near grocery stores and gas station.

Dorm style housing, but had all the basic amenities. We used the oven in the kitchen to bake a pizza and the heated towel rack was nice as was the black out curtain.

Exactly what we needed
This hostel was exactly what we needed - a clean, comfortable place to rest between drives on the West Fjords. Make sure to see the seals and taste the local seafood soup in the area - divine ! Would stay again for sure.

Hässlicher grauer kasten. Man tritt direkt in den koch bzw Aufenthaltsbereich ein. Arbeiter der Fischfabrik nutzen diese unterkunft auch.

Das Hotel ist in einem Wohncontainer untergebracht mit Self Check In, daher kann ich über Service und Personal nichts sagen. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, es war vor allem die erste Unterkunft in Island, wo man die Zimmer richtig abdunkeln konnte. Aber die Küche ist für die Anzahl an Zimmern viel zu klein, es gibt nur einen kleinen Kochbereich, wenn mehrere Gäste etwas kochen wollen, kann sich das sehr lange hinziehen. Die Badezimmer waren leider nicht so schön, sehr einfach und machte eher den Eindruck, als wären sie nur provisorisch hergerichtet. Aufenthaltsraum ist dagegen sehr schön. Verbesserungswürdig, aber ok.

Nice hostel
There was some very noisy people but thank god they were in the other wing. The place is basically multiple Algeco (outdoors modular units) put together to form a hostel. There was like 4 bathroom located in the other wings There the place for having dinner or breakfast was big , big table and sofa. the kitchen part was a litlle bit small though Iit's pretty new, it was clean and mostly quiet in our room, there was also a sink in our room which is really great.
