Great location, sunbed wars in the morning so if you’re not early you won’t get one and be given a chair. Evenings no chairs to sit around so ironically you’ll be on a sunbed. Couple of creepy staff. Brush it off as most are lovely. Air con not great. No remote control and smells old. Definitely got on my chest and made me sick. Food was hit and miss. Standard hotel food. 2 ala crate. Asian. All greasy and tasteless , Italian. Bit better. Gardens beautifully maintained. And guest relations try and help but end up getting guests to do work. No fresh milk in hotel. Only powdered.

I stayed in Minamark for 5 times, as well as other hotels in Hurgada such as Jaz aquamarine, pickalbatros white beach and Neverland Jungle Aqua Park. Minamark's location is excellent as it is in Hurghada city centre and you can easily go out and do stuff off evening. The hotel has one main pool near the restaurant which is ok to swim in, however it can get busy at times. Cons The restaurants are always busy even though it is two floors. Once the restaurant is opened you have to rush there, otherwise you have to wait ages for a table. Tables crammped together, staff always walking between tables makes it hard for you to enjoy your food. However staff are friendly and polite. The hotel has other restaurants on site but you have to pay to dine in them thats why they are always empty. So really the hotel management should use the other restaurants as part of the all inclusive to ease off the crowds from the main restaurant. Pools are nice, however the pool close to the beach is abit dirty and the water in it is so salty for some reason. The main pool by the restaurant can be very busy, hardly any where to swim. The beach is nice ,but it is abit rocky so you have to wear pool shoes to protect yourself. I felt there is some kind of discrimination among local tourist and foreign tourist. I have noticed that during dining, staff bring foreign tourist drinks in glass cups, but if you don't like foreign to them, they don't come and ask you what you would like to drink.

We always like to stay in Minamark hotel now for 7 years. I would like to mention as always about the music in restaurant it’s too laud and the type of it doesn’t suits the day time,, but for sure if we come back to hurghada we ll choose same hotel

The food was really good. For the rest its a very old hotel which needs really a renovation. I stayed in a lot of hotels in egypt but the friendliness I am here really missing. The only friendly people were the cleaning man, people for helping with suitcase and the poolman. The rest was just doing their work with ignoring you sometimes. I just stayed one night before flying home this was enough.I would not like to stay there again.

No WiFi in the rooms only in the lobby. The food was not 100% and they were playing music pop music when eating. Very rude staff when we came in the night and no information about WiFi, breakfast, towel cards. I travelled all over the world but this at this price no way.

Bathroom leaked the whole 4 nights. AC was not working properly. The service is horrible you would call to ask for something and they will never send it to your room… WiFi is extra charge.. the food was not good at all.

The rooms could do with a good deep clean.sheds down on beach could do with been tidyed up.no wounder they dont get many customers and makes beach untidy.do with abit more varity of food same stuff each nite nearly.on my check out day.i wasnt leaving till late fare enough i know i couldnt have anything but i felt like a criminal. Security man come chacing me cos i was sat talking to some people i met.they were discussed with him standing around till i went to sit in reception till i was leaving.staff at reception are no better.all years iv been going there.iv never treat so bad.
