The location of Deerhurst Resort is excellent, with easy access to both the Muskoka area and Algonquin Park. Our room was clean but it had a few things that should have been repaired before our stay (mostly plugged bathtub drain, loose sink faucet handle and non-functional hair dryer). The resort is looking a little tired with roads that are in less than stellar condition. A decorating and modernizing upgrade to the rooms would also be a good idea.

The property was pretty great. Lots of outdoor space, the pool was nice and big, the Pavillion had many activities for the kids. The hotel room in Bayshore was nice, although we could have used a larger mini-fridge. The shuttle service was amazing. Made it so easy to go back and forth from the Pavillion to our room.

Very large room in one of three buildings had a great view and was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and tried to be accommodating. Tv went out in a storm and they had nothing to say (or compensate for the lack) other than sorry. Maybe they could’ve directed my complaint to the manager, but they did not. No food available in the bedroom buildings, have to travel to another building. Food was unavailable until 9 am-I get up at 6, so had to drive somewhere to even get a tea (because there were no tea pods or kettle in the room, no microwave either). This was quite inconvenient considering the $500 I paid for the weekend. If these things don’t bother you, then you will enjoy your stay. Hearing the Loons cal at 6 am in the fog-priceless!

We did not have any kitchen just a very small fridge , no microwave. But room was nice. Easter weekend fun zone was not as good as last year, our daughter went last year and thought it was great , lots of inflatables etc. So we had a family get together this year but fun zone was disappointing. Loved the Superdogs!
