"Firstly, the property is exactly as it looks in the pics. The rooms are spacious & there are facilities and equipment should you want to cook (I did and all worked fine and the pots, pans, plates etc were in good condition.) I appreciated that I was offered a suitable time for cleaning. There was a balcony in my apartment with a clothes horse and washing machine which came in handy. There was also a dishwasher although I didnt use it.
The location is also very good for Deak Ferenc Ter which means that it is easy to get to/from the airport on the 100E Airport Express. If you want to pick up some groceries, there is a SPAR (Klauzal Ter) and market with fruit, veg and meat about 5-7 mins walk away (walk up from the apartment turn right and walk through the park on the pathway, cross over and walk through the arches).
I would rate my experience 4.5/5 and would stay here again without hesitation. I took half a star off as I got caught up in the NATS issues which cancelled my flight. I sent 2 messages - one saying I'd be delayed and the other stating my flight was cancelled but I still intended to stay for my booking. I didnt receive an acknowledgement to these messages. It was only when I spoke to Hotels.com and they spoke to the company did they advise that they had received my messages and it was no problem. I think it would have been courteous to just respond to say "Hello we have received your message and it's ok" - it would have made an already stressful situation less so."
"The room was clean in day. Second day I have to afk to clean it. No show gel or shampoo - I asked twice and never received ur. Breakfast fur Euro 45 sounded unrealistic in Budapest.
Location was very good, room good size but no shower, just outfashioned bathtub."
"It was clean room and good breakfast.
First night I was given a room right across 3 elevators. Very noisy and terrible. They moved me to a better location for rest of our stay. Never seen a hotel room that has a room in front of elevators. You could touch my room’s door as soon as you exit the elevator. They should not assign that room."
"Everything was amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and they have a wide variety to choose from. If I plan another trip back the Budapest again. I would stay again."
"This hotel has a stunning entrance into an extraordinary lobby- a mixture of centuries of classic style, and some modern design twists. It opens into a gorgeous plaza with a church and several great restaurants. The rooms also mix the classic feeling with tall old windows and modern amenities and updates."
