Better to avoide this hotel

This hotel was not so good after all it took 20min to check me in after asking a tons of useless questions by the guy in the reception and when I entered the room the bed was not made plus they charged me 15$ more then what it was written on the reservation they say its for taxes the room was good and the location write on the beach but if i visit hulumale another time i would chose a different hotel.

Nice friendly staff, not a good place to stay for comfort! Bed was really uncomfortable. After a really tiring long flight, I was unable to get a good night sleep on the extremely uncomfortable bed.

Nice view, friendly staff

Stayed there a night on transit to my final destination, was OK. The room has great view of the sea and can see the sunrise and a great horizon view. The pick up from the airport took a long time though, strongly recommend you to insist the staff pick you up based on your arrival time. They told me I can call them after I reached, it'll be 10-15mins they'll pick us up, didn't happened. In the end waited for good 40mins. Bring mosquitoes repellent - you will need it, the breakfast area is infested with mosquitoes. The staff says its due to the rain past few days, but I won't take chances.

Convenient and friendly staff

The service was really nice and transfer to and from the airport very easy. The room needs TLC, it's very small and run down, there were ants in the room. The shower needs a good clean and there is a lot of rust. But the friendliness of the staff makes up for the standard and cleaningness of the room. Recommend for a short stay.

Okay hotel, close to the beach and airport.

Was okay for what we paid for. Didn't expect to be wowed but loud noise at certain periods at night coming from the kitchen disturbed my sleep. The hotel is okay if you are stopping over for the night. The beach is right outside the hotel and there is a place next door for water activities. Not much variety for breakfast. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Ask for ocean view window.

Good Budget Option, Good beach access

I spent one night at the Fern and enjoyed myself. The atmosphere of the island on which the inn is located is more relaxed than that of Male's, but conversly, there is much less happening on the Hulhulmale. I appreciated that the kitchen was open until midnight, and the spicy Maldivian fish soup I had was excellent. In the morning, the free breakfast buffet was a bit sparse, but what was there was well prepared. In regards to the beach, it is certainly not as well groomed as many of the resorts, but it provided a beautiful view on wake up and an easy place to swim, just across the street from the hotel. I would recommend the Fern for business travellers to Male looking for a cheaper option, with access to the beach, or budget vaction travellers. There was a water sports venue next to the hotel and the hotel itself offered connections to water sports adventures.

we booked double bed but gave us 2 single bed and combined it together. really bad image. 2nd issue is, taxi cost from airport to hotel cost USD 10 but from hotel to Airport cost USD 3 only. only i would rate their good is the services, always try to the best to helps us. staff is friendly.

A part of the fact the they keep me waiting in the airport for one hour, even if the hotel is just 10 minutes driving from the hotel and there is not trafic ... I would say that the service is not the best, the breakfast buffet a bit poor, they should improve that and easily would be possible to do it...The staff is not very friendly excep a couple of guys in the recepcion, which always tried to make it my stay easy and confortable...The wifi conexion very poor at the rooms. The area it's not interesting at all except if you are going just for diving and will be diving in different points around. I would not be back to this island and to this hotel. Lo peor es el servicio de recogida del hotel, me tuvieron esperando más de una hora en el aeropuerto para un trayecto de solo 10 minutos en coche y sin tráfico, además mintiendo descaradamente por teléfono cuando les llamaba para reclamar el servicio de recogida en el aeropuerto que ofrecen. A parte de eso, la zona no tiene nada que ver salvo si vas a bucear.. con lo cual estarás buceando en otros lugares alrededor. El personal bastante antipático en general salvo un par de chicos en recepción. El desayuno muy justito en cuanto a varidad. La conexión de wifi en las habitaciones muy mala. La habitación está bastante bien y buenas vistas. Yo no volvería ni al hotel ni a esta isla en particular...

ホテルスタッフの対応は普通です。 室内は掃除してあり、シーツも変えてありました。 バスローブは体臭がして襟首が黄ばんでいるものがハンガーにかかっており、 畳んだものは使い古しでバサバサでした。 トイレとバスルームも掃除してありました。 アメニティは手洗い石鹸、シャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディソープがありました。 壊れたハンドシャワーとレインシャワーがありました。 口コミにあったように、お湯は出ません。水浴びです。 バスルームのバスタオルやハンドタオルも、使い古しでバサバサでした。 周囲は地元の若者がバイクでうろついたり、たむろしている。 あまり治安が良くないと感じました。

利用し難い

無料送迎と言う事で予約し、予約確認書に連絡先が書いてると言う事でした。e-mailアドレスがあるのかと思ってたのですが、電話番号しかありませんでした。ホテルのＷＥＢを見つけたので、そこの問い合わせフォームで連絡したのですが、連絡無く、機能してない感じでした。言葉に自信の無いので、仕方なく、日本から有料の手配サービス（ホテルに国際電話をかけてリクエストしてくれる）を利用して送迎の手配をしました。手配はちゃんとされてて、飛行機到着時には、ちゃんとお迎えがきてました。 部屋はシャワーのみですが、お湯がタンクの中に貯められてるのを使う感じで最初の１人がゆっくり浴びてると途中でお湯が無くなり、水のみとなりました。連続で２人は使えない感じです。どのくらい使えるかの説明もなく、またお湯が無くなった時も、どのくらい待てばタンクにお湯が補充されるか不明で困りました。結局１人は朝使った次第です。
