"Had a studio ocean view with a balcony. Beautiful views. Watched the sunset from my balcony everyday. Only a short 1-2 mile drive to haystack rock (for morning tide pools) and downtown Cannon Beach. Had a full kitchen, but I only used the refrigerator and went out every night. Descent coffee in the lobby every morning. Plenty of parking. Friendly front desk staff. Daily housekeeping services. Had a lovely 3 night stay. "

"The Old Wheeler hotel is a jewel in Wheeler, OR. The owner is always attentive but not hovering. Each room is nicely decorated reminiscent of the 30-50s. The bathrooms for each room is in the hall but is it not a problem. The views of the bay and marina are great from the rooms. I recommended this place without reservations. "
