Room good, Staff good, breakfast has room for improvement. Working for a company based in Hudiksvall, I stay here often and it is not as good as it used to be. Staff reactive (slowly) and not reactive at breakfast. I stayed 4 nights and had to ask every morning for the coffee to be filled up as it was empty. when they filled it up, it was quickly emptied by other guests and then someone had to go and ask again...staff should be on top of this and ensure food and drinks are in supply.

The bathroom was dirty. There was mold on the tiles. There was a lot of street noise inside the room and this is due to the old windows. Breakfast was good. Reception staff was very friendly.

Good hotel

The staff is very professional. The front desk young lady and young boy who welcomed us are an example of what should be done in this position. The lady at the restaurant at night is also very professional. The room cleaning is also well done. There are some rooms which can be noisy (road traffic or train). Depending of the person, this can be important. The parking of the hotel was always full. There's a parking nearby but crossing the road is not always very simple. There are restaurants all around.

Disappointed

We’ve stayed at several hotels on our trip and I found the bed here to be very uncomfortable … and the pillows so-so. I awoke with a sore back - which I never do. Also the breakfast was disappointing - the eggs, bacon and pancakes were cold … Maybe the sterno was not working?? I think there are better options in town to stay.
