I thought “I’ll believe it when I see it. An onsen in Shinjuku!” But it was every bit an onsen. As well as the indoor and outdoor baths, the architecture was tasteful. It was very new and quiet. We stayed on a high floor with a very good view of the city scape. Very well appointed coin laundries with vending machines, ice and chilled water dispensers on three floors. I couldn’t have asked for better. There’s a 711 right over the road and decent traditional eateries and cafes nearby.

The rooms were really small. This is my fault for not doing my research but if other people read this know that the room that I got, which I believe was 215sqf was really small. My wife and I were on top of each other as we moved around. If it was just her and I it would be great but what we did not factor in was the luggage. Your luggage needs room. Once we unpacked the room shrunk in size and we had to tiptoe.
