"This is an older hotel and it's a bit tired but well appointed and clean. Everything was functioning well, the bed was quite firm but comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked well. But the room was a bit small, my view was of the a brick building and the air conditioning unit. I was on the 4th floor. The best thing about this hotel is the location. I was able to walk to Pike's Place in about 5 minutes and the Needle and Chihuly were less than a mile away. Lots of restaurants in the area. Not sure if they have any handicapped rooms but mine was definitely not. Low toilet and slippery high tub but there was a mat. All in all a pleasant stay."

"The coffee shop (Poindexter's) opened late one day. University Street is about a block away and has 30-40 counter-service restaurants: Asian, Mexican, Indian, Mediterranean, pizza, ice cream, etc. A real university town experience."
