Pros: nice well-maintained property. Clean, staff were accommodating. It was centrally located. Cons: At the time that we arrived in the early evening on a Sunday, and pedestrian crowds maybe extremely difficult to find a place to unload and therefore to check in. There are minimal parking spaces in front of the hotel, and we circled the hotel for an hour before we finally resorted to double parking behind someone else to check in. We advise that one bring one’s full allotment of patience. After getting settled it was a very nice and interesting time spent in Honfleur. Here you go you

St Malo is a victim of its own popularity insomuch unless you pick your time, parking can be very very frustrating! The hotel was very nice; clean room, friendly helpful staff and ideally located inside the walls making easy access to bars and eateries.

Fantastic old building with large, well appointed rooms. Very friendly and professional staff. Very dog friendly - allowed in all areas. Great breakfast. Quiet location but just a couple of minutes from the main port area.

Charming gem

This was the nicest room yet of our 10 days in France. It had a vaulted ceiling and more space in the room. It is really charming and centrally located. The staff were willing to help with the baggage too

Great stay in a very charming property in a very charming town. Very convenient to everything touristic. Staff was terrific. Parking was difficult generally and because of street work we could not access the hotel parking when we arrived. We were fortunate to get a free space next to the property.

We arrived very late in the evening and the hotel was so pretty and festive with twinkly lights and decorations. It’s ideally located in the centre of things. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The decor is a bit tired in places but, that seems to add to its charm. The room was immaculately clean and the bed really comfortable. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful Property.

We had a fantastic stay at Les Maisons de Lea. It is in a fantastic location. We loved the "quirkiness" of the hotel. Very comfortable bed and bath. Was a nice surprise that the items in the mini-bar (including alcohol were gratis). You do have to book parking in advance (which would have been nice to know in advance). There is ample public parking within walking distance. Because the age of the property there were no lifts to the floor of our room. This property could be more difficult for a person with mobility issues, but was great for us.

Great hotel be aware of the parking!

Really nice hotel on the centre of the town. Very good modern facilities while keeping the character of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded from a cosy to a standatd room and it was comfortable, well appointed and characterful. Didnt eat in the hotel as there is so many great options nearby and €26 is too much for a breakfast in any hotel for me. However there are plenty of great artisan boulangeries close by. The only reason i didnt give this hotel 5 is that it advertises it has parking which it does not. There are a couple of spaces in a public square outside, so you have to park elsewhere in the town which could be challenging depending when you arrive. That said it would not stop me staying there again. We really enjoyed it!

Our stay was underwhelming as the hotel/ room are less nice than the photos. It is quite expensive for a tiny bedroom, old building, staff all look indifferent when they see you, great central location is the only positive thing about this stay.

We did not realize the parking was so bad there. We had to drag our suitcases 3 blocks over cobblestone streets and then had to climb two flights of very narrow stairs. Then had to park the car even further away in a very tight lot. Room was okay in an old nunnery but water pressure was weak.
