"We arrived to stay one night in order to attend an event. I was very pleased with the price because the other hotels were charging a considerable amount more for one night. We arrived to a very delightful and courteous front desk clerk who was very accommodating and was able to provide a first floor room. The night clerk and morning clerk the next day were friendly and hospitable. The room was clean and there were enough towels and bathroom amenities. Parking was ample. East Side Marios Restaurant is conveniently situated next door for both dine-in and take-out which totally worked for us. We skipped breakfast so I can’t really comment on it."

"room was clean and the window could be open so fresn air can get in! there was no pool due to construction. there was no hair dryer in the room. service was great !"

"Unfortunately what I thought were stains in the bathroom turned out to be dirt. Not just a little dirt, ground in over the entire bathroom floor. The hand towel i used to mop up the water that splashed out of the shower literally turned black. When I wiped water off the bathroom countertop i got dirt from the sink edge. Now horrified, I though, what if that stain on the toilet seat is not a stain? My answer was a resounding NO it is not a stain! The toilet did have a paper announcing "Sanitized". I am very doubtful someone even wiped the bathroom let alone sterilized it. After leaving a message for someone to come clean, house keeping did come. I was told to go speak with the manager who apologized profusely and was given two 5$ gift cards for Tim Hortons. I was informed that a staff member had been staying in that room and the regular cleaning staff had missed that room. I told her what i wanted was a credit for my room. She said she couldn't do that but would speak to the owner. I was offered a different room, but for personal reasons, moving my stuff did not appeal to me. My fault for not choosing the option of moving because my towel used to mop up water next morning was still not perfectly white after getting out of shower. I am not picky and I could accept left over tape on walls, missing baseboards, stains on carpet...I mean it's a college dorm room, but the uncleanness was absolutely unacceptable and the compensation offered was a joke!"
