We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage, which was warm and comfortable. The hostess was friendly and helpful. The shops and eateries of Richmond were very close by. This is an ideal spot to access Hobart airport, just 20 minutes away, without having to worry about getting through traffic delays from Hobart city.

The sort of character cottage you would love to stay in at Richmond, had a little fire which kept us very warm, lots of magazines and games, very welcoming would definitely stay again.

Highly recommend

We absolutely loved this cottage and the host was just lovely, really went out of her way to make us welcome. Lit a fire and settled in for the night, so homely and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Our stay was work related. Three blokes needing a nights accommodation. The place was very comfortable, great shower, nice beds, everything we needed. Close to pub for counter meal and pick up anything needed from shops. Second bathroom is always good in this situation but having just the one was fine. Got a call early afternoon to let me know where the key was, (which doesn't always happen in some places we stay). The cottage is older, which it doesn't try and pretend not to be, so not a mod cons place, but everything needed for a comfortable and easy stay is available. Quiet and off street parking, even for a small truck. Would definitely stay there again.

Most comfortable bed in the world!

Was impressed as soon as walked through door. Had everything we needed and almost fell over when I saw the bathroom. A bed I didn't want to get out of and a generous breakfast. Will be coming back to stay and the host was very kind.

Cosy Cottage in historic Richmond

Warm and cosy night, with a lovely wood fire. Overall, comfortable and well looked after. The experience was in keeping with the historic nature of the town, authentically aged and worn.

Set back off the road but in the heart of Richmond, this was the most memorable place we stayed during our holiday in Tasmania.Comfortable, quiet, excellent beds and personal service, we didn't want to leave.

Nice Cottage in Richmond

We instantly felt at home in the two bedroom cottage. Our children were drawn to the books on the bookcase. We had a very relaxing stay brewing up the coffee on offer and cooking up the fresh eggs provided.
