A good place to stay

We stayed at Hotel Podhrad to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is on th the expensive side, but in line with the surrounding options. The parking areas available are scattered around, so be prepared to walk a bit in case the adjacent parking spots are taken. The included breakfast was okay, but a bit lacking compared to other hotels we've been to in the Czech Republic. The rooms are okay in general: - There is no air conditioning. - The water temperature in the shower seems to fluctuate and there is no holder for the shower head to comfortably wash your hair. - The English TV channels, as few as they are, do not work. - The pillows are very, very thin. The included wellness amenities include a Finnish sauna, hot tub and small swimming pool. Massages are available at an extra cost and need to be scheduled in advance.

Za velke penize velmi prumerna kvalita.

Ubytovani bylo v te 2. casti - ve dvore. Tragicka byla postel, kdy se matrace provalila a spani nebylo pohodlne. Zaves byl dost pruhledny a tedy nedostatecna tma, lednice velmi vrcela. Prvni den netekla uplne tepla voda.

Excellent service

Hotel was just 10 min walk from castle, it was perfect for us since we were doing Cesky Krumlov after castle. Staff was so friendly and helpful we have nothing bad to say about service. Breakfast was good normal buffet with essentials.

Cena nieadekwatna do jakości

Nocleg dostaliśmy w sąsiednim budynku, w którym znajdował się wcześniej inny hotel, też 4-gwiazdkowy. Nie zasługuje na 4 ani nawet 3 gwiazdki. Po pierwsze - brak klimatyzacji, po drugie - nieestetyczna łazienka , w której zamiast oczekiwanej kabiny prysznicowej była wanna z plastikową zasłonką, po trzecie - śniadanie w głównym budynku z podzielonymi na połówki drożdżówkami i bułkami , grubo pokrojonymi ogórkami itp., po czwarte - brak dostępu do strefy spa, gdzie jak się okazało, należało mieć wcześniejsza rezerwację, do tego bardzo nieuprzejma pani z obsługi. Plusy to duży , dosyć ładny pokój,darmowe wi-fi, czystość, parking oraz miła pani w recepcji.

Příjemný víkend

Hotel je velmi dobře umístěn a je vhodný jako výchozí bod k výletům do okolí. Drobná nepříjemnost vás očekává, pokud chcete jít brzy spát a máte okna do ulice. Ta je poněkud hlučnější a vzhledem k absenci klimatizace není možné spát se zavřenými okny v horkých dnech. Skvělá je hodina v místním bazénu a vířivce v rámci pobytu. Snídaně je průměrná. Celkově jsme byli spokojeni.
