Disliked: Staff & service
I am the travel agent that me the booking via hotels.com on behalf of my client. I use this platform to make bookings on a daily basis. I am feeling rather angry and disappointed. My clients struggled to check in last night 02 November and our emergency line was contacted. We had try to make arrangements between hotels.com and the guest house but the GH was unable to find the payment that had been sent. This morning the client was trying to leave for work and was basically held hostage as the guest house had taken the travellers passports & ID's until such time as payment was made. I was advised that someone from the property had parked them in so they were unable to leave. This is disgusting, they had my number, my email and my name and would not budge for R1300, as the agent I was going to make an arrangement for payment but was unable to do it while they kept my clients hostage. I will NEVER send anyone to the Ranch inn again.
