"Wow, what a treat! We had the absolute best time at this guesthouse. The host was very friendly and offered great advice about the next leg of our trip. We had a lovely breakfast with homemade pastries from the host’s mother. There is a hot tub with an incredible view of the fjord. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer."

"We were greeted by Elizabeth, the owner, who showed us our immaculate accomodations with kitchen, breakfast and lounge areas. Breakfast was the best we had while in Iceland. Elizabeth shared her homemade and bread, cakes and cookies with us. All were outstanding. We took an evening stroll by friendly horses. Adjacent to the mountains, the views were stunning. Beds were comfy, rooms soundproof and dark. Highly recommend and would love to stay there again. "

"Room was adequate, clean, no frills. But the common area in a remodeled barn is a fantastic place to enjoy a meal, a drink, or play a card game, read or spend time relaxing and chatting. "I did not like the apartment at all. The door handle fell off into two pieces one on the bathroom side and other on the bedroom side of the door. I got locked in the bathroom and my wife on the bedroom side. Took us 15 or 20 minutes to put the handle together thru the hole for the handle and to get it working again. The TV did not work at all!! No breakfast was offered. I did not not see or talk to a live person. Only furnished us a combination to the apartment by text message. Terrible...
