"The breakfast was quite decent. I’m glad I was able to have that option. I would fix food and go back up to my room so it was very feasible. My room was overall clean but there was some hair strands left in the shower I’m assuming from the previous guest but overall, I enjoyed my room and my stay. It was very close to my tattoo appointments so I would utilize that hotel again when I come back. "

"Thoroughly delightful place to stay! The room was super clean and quiet. The morning breakfast was varied and plentiful. Also, the location was great! Walking to the University of California campus at Berkeley was easy and safe. "
"I like everything about the hotel, the only thing that I didn't like is the area around, everything is dirty, alot of homeless people around, including one was sleeping in the hotel parking lot, I didn't feel secure and safe outside the hotel"
"Love the old building, such a great piece of history for Berkeley. The architecture and pool were amazing. Plus the little quiet green space courtyard. Staff all very friendly. The room was comfortable and quaint. Great location too. Only downside was construction a few doors down, which started very early. And some college kids doing some workout chanting at 6:30 but you can’t fault the property for those. "
"This was a great stay over all. Great communication and very fast response. Place was exactly how the online photos looked. Only minor thing was the couch had miscellaneous food and trash debris in the cracks. Will definitely recommend."

"From the road, the front of the Lodge is such a pretty building. The lobby and surrounding areas including indoor and outdoor seating and fireplaces, are so appealing to the eye to just sit and take in all the scenery. The pool area is secluded and very relaxing. The ambience if the Lodge means you can switch off and relax. Perfect location"
