Affordance and comfortable

This is a well-managed hotel, watched over by a caring family that runs it. The staff is attentive and pleasant. This is not an expensive hotel, but you get more than you pay for. The customer service is superior, and the accommodations are comfortable and spacious. We will stay here again.

Traveling from FL back to MN. They still have smoking rooms which is almost unheard of and you can smell it throughout the motel. Owners try hard and they do a pretty good job but could use some updating and don’t expect much for amenities. But you get what you pay for.

Staff was friendly. Property is old, musty and poorly maintained. Beds are comfortable and shower was decent…until a literal COCKROACH crawled out a broken conduit. Hotel is in a great location but definitely needs a deep clean and updates.

I have been to this motel several weeks now and even though when I first came, we had misunderstanding, the hosts are kind, generous, welcoming and make me feel like home away from home. They do their best to please their customers, and they are respectful. Check in and check out is easier. The price is reasonable compared to other motels and hotels near by. The hosts accommodated me several times as I sometimes accidentally choose the wrong room when booking for example smoking vs nonsmoking, and I appreciate them very much for their understanding and working with me. I will go back to and recommend this motel to others.

Location is convenient. No a/c in the lobby and hall. Room smelled. Outlets extremely loose. Wouldn’t refund my extra 2 days I didn’t stay because I “Booked with Expedia”.

The bed was extremely hard and the comforter on top had cigarette burns in it. The recliner in the room was very stained with some nasty white stuff on the arm. As we were leaving, we said goodbye to a friendly roach on the top of the door as we parted ways. Guy behind the counter was awesome! Great customer service!

This is a franchisee property. Nice family, local business so very important to support. Would like to see a focus by room on renovations to bring up to date. Possibly more of a breakfast offering. The only real competition is right across the street and small improvements would make a world of difference. Would suggest going completely smoke free as it is apparent in the hallways when walking. Great location. Right on 65 and close to the college.

Last resort

He motel has smoking rooms, and the minute you walk in the lobby it reeks!!!! It is your. Last resort stay at this Super 8. Breakfast is coffe, power3ed creamer an mini muffins. Towels are extremely thin and the decor is so old looking it’s almost back in style. It was clean and comfortable but all smells of cigarette smoke.

It was on a whim. But the offer of free breakfast was a joke. It was a basket of apples a bucket of orange juice and some snack bars. The place next door was same price if not cheaper. I'm sure they had something. I'm kosher so I just can't go to fast food in order anything. Facilities were okay had new wall heater. Cable works. I don't know or bother with Wi-Fi. Overall it was satisfactory for what I paid

The window air conditioner was not working properly and there was already an oscillating fan plugged in and running when we checked in. The room cooled down because the nights cooled down to a comfortable temperature and the daytime temps weren’t unbearable, but I am glad we aren’t staying there anytime in the next week because the area is going to be under a heat wave.
