Cheap and friendly..

Biggest upside in this residence: the owners are wonderful, extremely friendly and appear as if they are willing to do anything for you. They have only been the owners for a couple of weeks now, and are looking to turn this place around. Which leads us to the current state of Buzers.. They are obviously working hard to improve, but for now there are still quite some things that feel or appear dirty. Rooms are small (bed is clean), kitchen is huge but has a lot of (dirty) junk, and showes are nice and warm but also need to be thoroughly cleaned. It is pretty much the cheapest place you can stay in Hervey Bay.. So if you go here, you are on a budget and will probably take the few negatives that I mentioned for granted.

Worst 'motel' if you can call it that, more like a drunks hangout spot. I have ever stayed at. Room stunk...a bright light was on all night right out front of my window...other guests played loud music until 2am... don't waste your money... i actually can't believe they are able to open and charge...the mattess was foam !!!

Great location across road from beach central position on esplanade close to shops restaurants and bars. This is the first and last time we will stay at this hotel we have visited Hervey Bay many times over the years have walked past this place many times, it was always a hive of activity with backpackers. Due to Covid 19 and no backpackers this buisness has changed from dorm style accomodation to a hotel. The only real thing that has changed is they have changed from bunk beds to double beds. We paid 75$ for a deluxe room which had a small fridge, bathroom and a double bed. The room had no insect screens no air conditioning no tea or coffee facilities. We had to drink from the bathroom tap as no glasses were provided.

What was advertised isn’t what you received. We booked a ocean view with separate private balcony advertised as best room. Daily room service was advertised and was not ever done, had a little bugs everywhere. Management offered a partial refund, still haven’t received. Wi-Fi available but not at the room we had on the top floor. Maintenance was being done with painting of the stair well and railings, no signage and rails weren’t able to be used, we required this. We we did like was the location of the stay in proximity to the beach across the rd

Old and unmaintained

The whole facility is just old and not maintained. It should go for a full renovation. Aside from that, the place is unclean. There were roaches in our room.

Shocking stay 😡

After I booked we had my granddaughter come so I ask if she could stay with us he said we need another room that I payed for then we find our room has 3 beds so she stayed with us Also there was no shower in the room this hotel is a back packers the worse hotel I have stayed we moved out the next day and found another place this place should be advised it’s a backpackers I will tell everyone I know that Buzz hotel is rubbish He told us we could not get on a whale watching boat but we found there was seats on a boat This guy will do anything for money what a ripoff I will check your site next time as you have bad places listed 😡😡😡

Friday nite was Hell... couldnt get myself or my 14 yr old boy to sleep until after 3am..The drunks and party in common area directly under our room.. Was horrible nothing but loud, laughing, yelling ,slamming ,bad swearing, cant say i.would let my boy stay there again...I thought there would Been some consideration for there guests but seems the locals who live there , are running the place... the Saturday nite was alot quiter..We were up gone by 8am..sunday ..Floors were not swept...and bed needs replacing..for deluxe room..and price needs few delux things like a small TV ....

Quite dirty and worn out motel. However I slept okay and that was all I wanted. Wouldnt spend time here but if you only want a bed its okayish. Plenty of free parking space on the street and behind building.
