Great choice. Clean, cosy apartments. Easy to move around. Seaside just down the road with amazing views. Safe, quite area with shops nearby. Transports available on the main road not far from the main entrance. Many dining options in the area. Nice welcoming people. Highly recommend.

Quiet location

The hotel was as described, a simple Greek apartment in a quiet location. All the staff were very friendly and helpful always asking if we were okay and had we had a good day. A short walk into the busier part of town where there were plenty of shops, bars and taverna's.

Les seuls points négatifs sont le manque d'articles de toilette; le mini golf payant non mentionné dans la description de l'hotel, le fais que les serviettes de toilette sont changées tous les 3 jours et qu'il y en a que deux par personnes... Et une connection wifi à faible débit

Wonderful Greek welcome

What a fantastic place this is. It is the 3rd time we have been and will certainly be going back again. The family work so hard to give you the very best holiday and nothing is too much for them. You are also guaranteed excellent service and a great welcome fro Billy and Maria. Natasha and Dimitris have worked hard to improve the hotel with a great upgrade to the bar area. Nice hotel close to all amenities and beach

We really enjoyed our stay here which was enhanced by the owners being so helpful and nice. They made recommendations for trips and booked them as well! Our apartment was comfortable and the kitchenette was just right for making breakfast and snacks. The bathroom assessories were in need of an update and the shower curtain kept falling down. However everything was spotless and we were happy as the cost of our holiday was very reasonable. We had a little balcony with a view on to colourful greenery/trees with fruit and plants. We were within walking distance of the beach and supermarket and restaurants. The bus service to the larger towns was excellent and reasonably priced.

Amazones Villas Apartments

Me and my family, my wife and 4-year-old daughter, stayed at the Amazones Villas Apartments for 10 days and I have only positive tings to say. It's a family-run hotel and the owners are very friendly and you felt like you are one of the family. They really tried to make you feel at home during the stay. The hotel is functional, very clean and the location is good. It's a short walk to the beach and to the restaurants etc. in Stalis. We are definitely going to look into going back to this area and this hotel again.

Billy Boy will see our right!

Very nice clean and practical apartments only 10 minutes walk from the centre, so really quiet at night, and only 2 minutes from the sea front. Excellent Staff, very friendly and willing to help. Billy is the star, anything you want, any time he's there - nothing it too much trouble.

Pleasant, simple, well-located and family friendly

We ( a family of 4) stayed here for one week in August 2014. As noted, the staff of 3 was exceptionally nice and helpful. Our 2 bedroom apartment was more than adequate for 4. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of closet space. The apt. was cleaned every day. There is only wired internet in the apt. and WIFI is only available near the reception/garden. Towels are only changed once every 4 days. You should bring towels for the pool (and beach) as the towels provided are only for the room (of course, one can buy beach towels nearby for 61/2 euro). The beach is a 7 minute walk and there are numerous tavernas nearby. A nice bonus was the laundrey service - for 10 euro you can give the owner 8 kilo of laundrey and get it back the same day. We enjoyed the outdoor garden where one eats breakfast. There is also a billiard table there. The only issue was the bathroom. The shower stall only had a curtain so that the water would always run all over the floor. We used the mop to wipe up the floor and left the window open so the floor dried up in about an hour, so it was not a big problem. Still, a glass stall would help. In addition, there is a problem with the water pressure and the water would turn cold for a brief time and then hot again. Again, not a major problem and it is probably due to the fact that the system is quite old. The kitchen was adequate. It had enough dishes silverware (though no can opener but when we needed something opened we went to the bar.

hôtel un peu vieillot,sale mais proche de la plage

L'hôtel Amazones villa apartments est plutôt bien situé à deux pas de la plage et des magasins et proche d'une grande route permettant de rejoindre l'autoroute en directions d'Iraklion ou Agios Nikolaos. Les chambres n'ont pas été rénovées depuis un bon moment, et la salle de bain n'est pas formidable ( rideau de douche trop court, donc inondations après chaque douches!). En outre ils serai possible de trouver un charme au mobilier en bois foncé si le ménage était correctement fait. A notre arrivée nous avons trouvés une chambre qui en dehors des lits n'avez pas été nettoyé (sable dans la douche, cheveux au sol, lunette des toilettes douteuse et poussières sur tous les meubles et dans les armoires). après l'avoir signalé à l'accueil, nous nous sommes vu gentiment répondre de repasser un coup nous même ( la seule serpillière de l'appart n'étant même plus en état d'être rincé). Au cours de notre séjour les femmes de chambre n'ont fait correctement leur travail ( si l'on n'est pas trop exigent) que lorsque nous étions en terrasse; en revenant d'excursions nous retrouvions par contre une chambre comme nous l'avions laissé. certaines personnes de l'accueil sont très sympathique, la piscine est agréable et les extérieurs sont soigneusement entretenu mais cela ne permet pas de passer outre l’état de la chambre dans laquelle heureusement on ne passe que peu de temps pour profiter du soleil.

Ci hanno alloggiati in una camera di servizio per oltre la metà del soggiorno e solo gli ultimi quattro giorni ci hanno spostati in una suite. Mancava l'angolo cottura, la cassaforte e l aria condizionata non era funzionante. Consiglio caldamente di non vivere la mia stessa esperienza ed Expedia a valutare se continuare a promuovere alloggi del genere

lhotel est proche de la plage mais celle-ci est payante:6€ la journée (pour les chaises longues).Les logements ne sont pas tres agréables(aucune deco, une douche sans protection donc innondation assurée,impossible reglage de la température :eau glacée puis brulante,la responsable est gentille et serviable cet hotel semble vieiliissant et le prix ne correspond pas au produit!!

Une super quinzaine de vacances. Convivialité et gentillesse. En demi pension nous avons dîner chaque soir sans n'avoir jamais eu deux fois la meme chose. Si vous etes de gros mangeurs, vous serez satisfait, et vous aurez interet a finir votre assiette car la Grand mère du serveur, pourrait bien venir vous gronder (n'est ce pas Vasilli). L'appartement simple mais très propre, les lits fait chaque jour, et les serviettes changées régulièrement. Nous qui habitons sur la cote d'azur, nous recommandons à bon nombre de commercants d'aller faire un petit stage sur cette ile, afin de prendre des cours de gentillesse et d'amabilité.

Well equipped and clean - near beach

Well located short walk to beach/bus stop/restaurants. Good pool at accommodation and a great bar to finish the night under the trees in candlelight. Fourth return.. remains well equipped and clean throughout. Dimitri and Natasha helpful as always
