"As a solo traveller with no car the hotels location was not as convenient as I'd expected an "Airport Hotel" to be. A 27min walk from the terminal or a €13 taxi fare. Other than vending machines for snacks and drinks, the only other options were a r vending machine in the car park or a petrol station about a 10min walk away. The hotel was clean and tidy in general but the carpet on the 2nd floor corridor was very dirty. Staff were pleasant and the breakfast as basic but adequate."

"The room was comfortable and the grounds were very pleasant. The walls are thin so we could hear a lot of noise from the children in the next room one night. We had an enjoyable meal on New Year's Eve but we were not told until the day that everything would be closed (apart from breakfast) on New years day! We had the most heavenly massage, really recommended. We loved the animals and the 'farm to fork' ethos and local produce. "

"La Villa Balat a beaucoup de charme, située le long et avec vue sur la Meuse et la Citadelle. Parking public aisé à proximité immédiat. Accueil très sympathique dans le petit salon qui sert aussi de bar ouvert et de bibliothèque bien fournie. Petit-déjeuner plantureux, très varié, avec des produits locaux de première fraicheur."
