Waikiki Resort Hotel

Waikiki Resort Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"This cozy resort definitely leans into classic, old-school Hawaii charm rather than ultra-modern luxury. While the property shows its age and feels a bit outdated by today's standards, everything is well-maintained and clean throughout. Highlights & Amenities Property Vibe: Rustic and vintage, but warm and kept up nicely. Activities & Pool: Great guest activity schedule that adds a personal touch, alongside a clean pool and a simple game room that kept us entertained. Dining: The breakfast is fairly basic and could use some improvement, but it served its purpose well enough to get us fueled up for the day. Overall, it’s a solid, comfortable stay if you appreciate traditional Hawaiian hospitality over fancy modern upgrades."

Best Western The Plaza Hotel Honolulu Airport - Free Breakfast

Best Western The Plaza Hotel Honolulu Airport - Free Breakfast

8/10 Good
"The hotel room was just fine. Everything was clean and well cared for. One of the two elevators was not functioning (nothing said about it at check-in, never asked why) so that made getting to your room/car with bags a 3-5 ride wait, as everyone was using the one elevator. The breakfast was great and what you would expect for a typical BW breakfast room. The one off-putting experience came with the morning shower and when moving the shower curtain, a massive cockroach dropped to the floor from in between the two curtains. Yuck."

"Unbelievable doesn’t even begin to describe the property. We love the historical hotel and that they maintain its culture. The staff is a true example of what hospitality is all about! We came with our two kids and loved the direct access to the beach, the indoor staff and that we were all able to sit back and relax."
