"First time in Kathmandu, picked this for it's fabulous location in a vibrant artsy neighborhood near Patan Darbur Square as a friend was staying nearby. I am so very happy I picked this place. Wonderful historic place with a wing added that is more modern but in keeping with the original architecture, the room I booked was in the new section so the ceilings are high and the windows face over the courtyard to the original part of the hotel. "I lived in Patan, Nepal in 2006 and have returned several times to reconnect with my "Nepali Family" and the one of kind culture of the Kathmandu Valley. The Inn Patan is a treasured restoration of a traditional Newari home, and is a moments walk to Patan's Durbar Square. The property is extremely quiet, the on-site restaurant is excellent, and the staff are consistently wonderful and accommodating. My husband, friend and I throughly enjoyed our stay and will stay at The Inn Patan when we return...
