I be arrived 4 hours before check-in and very tired from an overnight flight, Thao at reception was so kind and arranged for a room to be cleaned early. The staff were all very helpful and the room was ok, also good location.

Golden Silk has a great location in the Old Quarter, close to shopping and tourist attractions like Train Street. The hotel staff was very helpful. There are some interesting eateries nearby, including Met across the Street and Banh Mi 25, which is about a 10-minute walk away.

Ideal for what we wanted

Helpful staff, clean and spacious room though no window. We stayed one night but slept well, nice and quiet at the back of the hotel, despite being in busy location. Breakfast was very good. Thanks!

We absolutely loved Golden Silk Boutique Hotel. It's located in such a great place near the old part of Ha Noi and the lake. The people were so welcoming and went out of their way to help all the time. The breakfast was soooo good. I highly recommend this place!

Location is ideal for shopping and eating. Our room was clean and comfortable to stay. The service is really good and communication with staffs was perfect. However, since this hotel is on the busy street, we could hear the sound of bikes, but it's ok level. I enjoyed staying this hotel.

Absolutely amazing hotel and knowledgeable. Located just a stone throw away from the lively 'Old Quarter' area of central Hanoi. The staff are most helpful, as I booked the city moped tour and Halong Bay day trip through the hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. My room was fully fitted out with amenities such as hair dryer and safe but most importantly, a large comfortable bed. It has a stunning bar on the ground floor and a sky top roof area. They also helped arrange transportation to and frow the airport. I throughly enjoyed my stay there. Can't fault the Hotel in anyway and I strongly can recommend them. Steve.

This property is a two stars hotel trying to be five stars, and missing the mark rather badly. Bathrooms are in need of a serious update, the furniture in the rooms is just sad and worn, and the staff, while trying to be helpful, are just ill equipped. Booked the presidential suite, and it should be called the pauper suite. It smelled terribly, one bathroom had a leaky toilet that made it unusable, and decor was just generally run down. There was no trash can in the room, and the bedding smelled damp. Despite booking in advance, the room was not ready even after check-in time...I could go on, but just know to avoid this hotel!

It was a very convenient location near Kiem lake. The balcony overlooking the busy street was fun but didn't seem to loud when we had the door closed.
