"Un magnifique hôtel avec vue directe sur l'océan et le bruit des vagues pour s'endormir. Le personnel en place était aux petits soins avec nous. L'hôtel est très bien situé, tout juste en face d'un sentier qui permet d'accéder à différents parc, tout en longeant la plage (attention, certaines plages ne sont pas toutes propres, mais celle devant l'hôtel est impeccable). Nous avons aussi longé un sentier boisé dans l'un des parcs et y avons croisé un cerf. Bref, un endroit parfait pour aller se promener ou profiter de l'océan et ensuite relaxer sur son balcon en contemplant la mer. Il y a aussi 2 restaurants à moins de 30 secondes de marche; un restaurant de nouilles et un restaurant Italien (que j'ai adoré, la nourriture y est délicieuse) qui sert aussi des plats locaux. Les gens sur place sont très prévenants, s'assurent que nous ne manquons de rien et vont au delà de nos attentes. Des vélos et du matériel de plage sont aussi mis à notre disposition. Ce fût clairement notre coup de coeur au Japon"

"A business hotel in Tsuruga which is the end of the line for the Hokuriku Shinkansen.if you miss your train and get stuck in Tsuruga for the night, this is a good place to stay. A short flat walk from the station. Western beds. Good hotel breakfast with multiple types of onigiri. Efficient electronic check in and check out. Very clean."

They arranged a private hike to a nearby waterfall, followed by a farm‑to‑table experience where we learned to identify local mountain vegetables, harvested them together, and cooked with traditional Japanese ingredients. We even learned how to make delicious local sauces from scratch. It was immersive, meaningful, and gave us a deeper understanding of the village and its culture. Another highlight was their unique half‑board concept. Instead of the usual ryokan-style meals, NIPPONIA partners with local restaurants — breakfast is delivered to your room, and dinner is served at different restaurants in the village. It’s such a smart setup because you get to enjoy a variety of local cuisines every night while supporting the community. "If you looking for a quiet family oriented place for 1-2 nights outside Kyoto with a Ryokan and privacy. This is the place. Bring lots of games and books, nice walks along the river. It is not a large hotel and it is not easy to get to. But the right circumstances make this a perfect experience. "
