"The hostel is fantastic, can’t say anything negative about it! Just always to need to remember that you likely will never get a good sleep if you’re in a shared room. People coming in at 3am and clunking around the room, people getting up at 6am and making noise. People turning the lights on, etc. The rooms are pretty tight and the beds and lockers are all metal, so the noise can be pretty bad. Just gotta be prepared for that!"

"We had a bust, booking a place with another site, & could not stay there. I found the Parker nearby, walked there & booked them, they drove me back to collect our luggage & my partner. Everyone there did an excellent job of helping us to see what we wanted in Vancouver, & the best, and cheapest way to do that. Their room & facilities were perfect. On checkout day, our flight out was long after checkout time, They let us store luggage there, while we did more sightseeing. We returned & they got us good transportation to the airport. All were friendly, helpful, & did more than they had to do. If/when I return to Vancouver, I will definitely stay there again."

"Was actually pleasantly surprised with shared washrooms, single occupancy at a time and showers were clean and maintained. Pretty small rooms, nothing crazy. I booked during a time when there was some sort of night rave/party happening every night outside and there is active nightlife in general around the area so if you like a room that’s quiet at night keep that in mind."

"The staff were all lovely and kind and helpful, the central location is great, it’s a little under a 30 minute walk to rogers arena. Not super fancy but very comfortable and felt very safe. One thing I didn’t like was the bottom of the shower door clearly isn’t regularly cleaned. Because I accidentally touched it and there was a lot of orange-y shower gunk that came off… its an easy thing to get away with neglecting but it is not a good look. Other than that, the bed was super comfy and it wasn’t too loud, and everything in the room was comfortable for my partner and I. I would recommend as a good safe place to stay downtown Vancouver, although it is quite expensive during special events."
