We stayed ‘out of season’. Possibly one of only 3 or 4 rooms occupied at the time. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. I can imagine an amazing place to be in busier times and in better weather. The drive to the property was a little difficult with very poor road access.

My stay at Catello di Baccaresca was pleasant, but unfortunately, it didn't quite justify its price tag. The hotel itself is charming, but the views were lacking unless you ventured outside the premises. The breakfast experience was particularly disappointing. The offerings were not fresh; many of the cakes seemed to have been reused from previous days, and there was a noticeable absence of fresh fruit. Even the boiled eggs weren't up to standard, with one being rotten. The frozen Italian cornetti and individually packaged jams and butter felt out of place, especially considering the abundance of excellent local produce available in the region. On the positive side, the coffee was good, and the service was exceptional. The staff at Catello di Baccaresca were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, which significantly enhanced our overall experience. In conclusion, while Catello di Baccaresca has its merits, especially in terms of service, the shortcomings in breakfast quality and value for money left us underwhelmed.

Lovely Umbrian Castle stay experience!

Wonderful castle hotel in Umbria. Beautiful room, facilities, staff were amazing. Such a peaceful, idyllic location for easy day trips to surrounding sites. Really good restaurant.

I slept in the tower room, walls are so thin that you can hear the next room guest talking normally at the phone like if he’s sitting in your bed. Extra cost aren’t clear, pay attention to it. Staff: just a couple of professional memebers the others looks like they are surprised to be there

bella struttura richiederebbe solo una rinfrescata alle camere con ritinteggiatura delle pareti e potenziamento Wii-fii in quanto fruibile solo negli spazi comuni ma non nelle camere..anche l'area laghetto e tiro con l'arco andrebbe organizzata... magnifica la ristorazione, sia per quanto riguarda la prima colazione che i pasti principali !!! ottimo anche il servizio bar. Personale efficiente e molto cordiale.

Die Unterkunft war einfach wunderschön. Wir hatten die Panorama Suite gebucht und hatten als einzige eine Treppe hoch in den Burgturm mit Blick über das ganze Anwesen. Einfach ein Traum. Das Zimmer war sauber und groß. Das Frühstücksbuffet war groß und es fehlte an nichts. Die Terasse auf der das Abendessen stattfand war einfach schön und romantisch.

Très bien. Au milieu de la verdure.

Merveilleux pour se reposer au milieu de la nature. Tres calme. Un bon restaurant. Un service tres souriant. Des petites améliorations à envisager: l'éclairage de la salle de bains, par exemple. Le petit-déjeuner est très italien. Il faudrait de meilleurs jus de fruit et du café en accès libre.

Posto bellissimo e rilassante , personale gentile e disponibile . Ristorante buonissimo ed economico . Uniche due pecche: la camera per 4 non comodissima perché i due letti singoli un po’ scomodi . Inoltre siccome siamo venuti col cane,! in struttura risiedono dei gatti e un cane che gravitano tra ristorante e piscina creando problemi col nostro cane che spesso è stato attaccato. Sarebbe utile scrivere nel sito o nelle comunicazioni via mail che in struttura ci sono già animali residenti . L’ultimo giorno ho dovuto tenere il mio cane in camera .

Location fantastica immersa nelle colline, in un contesto di pace e tranquillità! Bellissimo il castello di recente ristrutturazione con annessa piscina. Una cosa che si potrebbe migliorare: i letti scomodi e che non assicurano un riposo rilassante.
