I was not aware this was a "luxury" hostel until I arrived. There was no front desk staff, but there was a very helpful person available via WhatsApp. That person arranged shuttle transportation to and from the airport. The room had everything I needed for an overnight stay during a layover in Guayaquil.

I stayed for a night & it was a pleasurable experience! PROS; - free toiletries(soap, shampoo) - Plates, cups, silverware were available to use in the room - Easy communication 4 English speakers(I ordered a shuttle to the airport & spoke with a polite man in English. His responses were very fast as well!) - Helpful staff ( When I was arriving & leaving the gentlemen helped me with my luggage) Very clean (I'm a stifler for hair on my towels when traveling but there weren't any signs of being unkempt or carelessness when it comes to cleaniness) CONS; Blackouts (I'm not blaming the hotel for Ecuador's energy crisis. However, It would have been nice to know the schedule because the lights went out twice while I was there. I would have prepared if I had known) OVERALL; An excellent value for your money with accommodating(& English speaking)staff
